Aguilas clasifican por primera vez
El antesalista aguilucho Pedro Lugo destruyo a los lanzadores Puerto riquenos para darle la victoria a Las Aguilas 14-6. Lugo remolco un total de 6 carreras (Nuevo record de equipo).
Aguilas van con todo
Las Aguilas del tamiami buscaran este domingo la victoria frente a Puerto Rico la cual le daria paso a los playoffs por primera vez en la historia del equipo. El conjunto aguilucho abrira en la lomita con el pelotero estelar Kyle Roberts quien dice sentirse en su mejor momento. Cabe destacar que Roberts sufrio una lesion en el tobillo izquierdo la cual lo mantuvo fuera de juego por 6 semanas. El astro aguilucho a venido lanzando varios partidos en relevo y dice estar listo para abrir el domingo.
A la ofensiva el equipo sufrira la ausencia de su campo corto y co lider en bases robadas de la liga, Xavier Gomez, quien estara fuera del pais por motivos personales. Por otro lado las aguilas tendran debutando al ex prospecto de los cerveceros de Milwaukee, Marcus Salmon, y al ex Pirata Garvi Arias, ambos jugaron ligas menores y se unen al ex profesional Chris Wilmoth, Tony Cash y al all american Gilber Garcia. Este line up de fuerza ofensiva se vera las caras contra un Puerto Rico qhe esta contra la pared y al borde de la eliminacion.
Sin lugar a dudas es un partido que no te podras perder.

Los resultados de los juegos realizados este domingo 15 de Marzo 2015 en el XLVI Campeonato de la Liga Miami Dade, Liga Nica de Miami, en los campos del Tamiami Park, fueron los siguientes:
LAS AGUILAS le ganaron al MATAGALPA 17-10 HABANA venció al RIVAS 16-6 PUERTO RICO se impuso a UNIVISTA 6-5 LEON venció a LUKES 9-8 LA VINOTINTO derrotó a LOS ANGELES 11-2 MATANZAS 5, ACADEMIA MARTINEZ 2.

Aguilas Win and Keep 2nd Place
Las Aguilas have shown a good pitching performance so far, and in the last two games have been hitting good too. The only problem with this team so far is its defense, errors have cost the three loses of the team ruining two good outings from Michael Vazquez and Angel Cortes. Is good to say the Jorge Fernandez have found his rythm in the mound closing the last game with 2 k in one in ing pitched.
Young sensation Jorge Tejada with only 14 years old have proven that he is at the league level macking good contact and hustling in every at bat he takes. Both Adelso Boya and Renzo Rodriguez have answered from the bench and every time Boya comes to pinch hit everything could happen. The addition of Chris Wilmoth have been fenomenal for this team also the returning to the field from Xavier Gomez and Juan Berrios have help the team win.
In the next 4 games we expect to see new faces around the team all of them trying for one position been this most likely 1st Base. This is the position with most runs charged by errors in the first 6 games.
Another good news for the team is that in the next few games we might see the MVP from last season Cesar Ramirez wearing Las Aguilas uniform. Also last season sensation Kyle Roberts have been cleared to play and will be coming from the bullpen at least for one game. When asked about moving Robert to the pen Coach Cabrera said, "at least one game". "We know he is anxious, we are too, but everything have to be taken slow so he doesn't get affected by anything".
The team will face Luke’s, Matagalpa, Rivas, then will have a week off, and after that will face MSA. With the exception of Rivas all of this teams have losing record, the team is expected to win at least 3 of the next 4.
Good Pitching Wasn't Enough
Las Aguilas lost their first game of the season against Boer 5-1. This battle looked like a really good one with both teams having an ferocious pitching staff on paper. However, Las Aguilas didn't count with their best pitcher from last season Kyle Roberts who after injuring his ankle was rule out for 6-8 weeks. Also Michael Vazquez, Luis Aspuro, Pedro Medina and Hugo Dueñas weren't at the game due to other difficulties. Leaving the responsibility to Angel Cortes and Jorge Fernandez.
Cortes took the mound for las Aguilas and threw 6 innings allowing only 1 earned run (2R) and was charged with the lost after the team couldn't hit against the nasty pitchers from Boer. Fernandez relieved in the 7th and allowed 3 runs in the 8th being relieved after that by Tony Cash who pitched the last 1 2/3 of the game. Boer just collected 5 hits in the game. Team overall didn't hit, just connecting 4 hits and scoring one run.
About last game, coach Cabrera commented "We havent hit and this can't happen if we want to win, first game we score 4 runs and last game just 1, the team has to be more aggressive at the plate, if they dont do it we will be in the same position as last year".
Next game will be against Martinez Sport Academy (MSA). MSA has lost their first two games of the season scoring no runs in neither of both games and allowing a total of 26 runs. The pitcher from Las Aguilas will be Luis Aspuro.

Aguilas Knocks the First One
Las Aguilas del Tamiami start the season with a right foot and for the first time in team history the team is over .500 after beating La Vinotinto 4-2. Kyle Roberts pitched for 8 2/3 innings dominating the whole game the power hitters from La Vinotinto, but after allowing the only two runs in the ninth Coach Cabrera turned to Michael Vazquez who strikes out the hitter to finish the game and earned the save.
The game was a pitching duel during the first 7 innings. From Vinotinto Miguel Ortiz threw 8 innings and was charged with the lost after giving up 4 earned runs. Kyle Roberts dominated the entire game, just one player reached third base before the 9th inning. Offensively Cesar Echaverry got on base 3 times with 2 hits and a base on balls same as Luis Ramos who got 1 hit and two walks. Also Pedro Lugo, Angel Mestre and Luis Ramos had 1 RBI each. The team in general showed an excellent defense who plaid the entire game without an error, Echaverry was phenomenal doing unbelievable plays at shortstop.
Last but not least the league handed the trophies from the past season where Aguilas Alex Gonzalez and Xavier Gomez received one trophy each. Gomez was honored as the League Leader in triples. For Gonzalez is not his first or second but his 3rd straight Stolen Base title. Also Cesar Ramirez was awarded as the MVP, Ramirez played for Chinandega last season and will be playing with Las Aguilas as soon as he gets the opportunity.

Payback Time
Las Aguilas will start the season against a team they know really well, La Vinotinto. This team was the one who advance to the playoff instead of Las Aguilas last season.
As the season kick off there is a lot of excitement in the team. After Alex Gonzalez (SB) and Xavier Gomez (H3) receive their trophy at 1:30, the team will face La Vinotinto in Field 2 at 2:00 pm. Las Aguilas bring a nasty lineup to face probably the veteran venezuelan lefty Chafendet, who in his last outing against Las Aguilas just allowed 2 runs over 7 innings pitched. That was also the last game these two teams face each other with La Vinotinto winning it 3-2.
There is nothing else to say than PLAY BALL.
Divisions for 2015 Season
Las Aguilas are sahring the same division as MSA, Boer, and last season division rival La Vinotinto.
