Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh BOYA, 3rd Straight!!!

Last Sunday Las Aguilas del Tamiami beat Los Bravos del Callao with a score of 7-3. Adelso Boya hit a 2 RBI double in the top of the 3rd that gave Las Aguilas the lead. Kyle Roberts relieved Jorge Fernandez who start the game and allowed 2 runs in only 2 innings of work. After reliever Nick Arias loaded the bases in the 8th, Angel Cortes got the last 5 outs of the game earning his 1st save of the season. Roberts threw 5 1/3 innings without allowing a hit making more history in team history surpassing former Aguila Julio Carballo who threw 4 1/3 innings without a hit two seasons ago. Kyle Roberts earned his 4th win of the season and lowered his ERA to 1.54 in 41 innings of work, also has allowed just 3 runs in his last 33 1/3 innings.

The team has won 3 straight games and they are not done yet. With La Vinotinto wining against Caribes, Las Aguilas are still 2.0 games behind Vinotinto with a hand full of games left. Las Aguilas (6-9) have 2 of their last 5 games against La Vinotinto (8-8) were everything could be defined.

Kyle Roberts is Schedule to start Sunday's game against Habana who are fighting for the best record in the league just one game behind Almendares. Coach Cabrera after the game said, "nothing will be easy, the next five games will be tough, but we like that, we don't want anything easy, all of our wins have been earned and we feel comfortable about ourselves, the boys are doing their job and it doesn't get any exciting than this".

Game 17 will be at 2:30 PM Field 8. Do not miss it.
